  13. I recommend "Practical C Programming" by O'Reilly.  Their book
  14. "Practical C++ Programming" is another good one for that language.
  15.  
  16. In general, I have always been happy with the O'Reilly books.  They
  17. are comprehensive and without a lot of the fluff that many computer
  18. books have these days.
